Welcome!
I'm a psychotherapist in private practice in Cambridge, Massachusetts, available to work with individuals and couples. I work from an attachment lens, using emotion-focused and mindfulness based skills to help you heal those wounds that keep re-emerging and getting in the way of joy. I also provide gender affirming, queer and poly positive care. Folks dealing with past or current traumas of the body, mind, or spirit-- whether it's personal, collective, generational or historical (or all of the above, as is often the case) are welcome here. I offer a warm and inviting space in which to feel and explore, and skills for how to more fully accept ourselves and to go deeper into life as it is in this moment.
If you feel disconnected from yourself, from loved ones, from life, or if you are confused and overwhelmed and need help finding clarity, we can work together towards a more spacious and loving and gentle and fierce (or whatever you want it to be!) existence.
My therapeutic work is informed by a deep commitment to social justice, which means that seeing problems and symptoms through the lens of the larger dynamics at play in each person's life can be as important as seeing what is personal and unique to each individual. Techniques of mindfulness and exploring in-the-moment phenomena are central to my work, as well as finding new, compassionate, and playful ways of relating to one's story. My approach is fed by the tools of EMDR, AEDP, and Emotionally Focused Therapy, and I continue in the process of learning to find new ways to adapt flexibly to, and relate with, each client's needs and strengths.
